I once hosted a gardening chat site, and as a 'tongue in cheek' thing I asked the members to go out in their gardens on Christmas day, and list the plants they found with flowers on them. I was amazed - and very surprised - at the answers.
Bearing that in mind, I look forward to seeing the responses for December flowers in your garden. (I will let you off for Christmas Day - even though that was one of my favourite plant photo days, as most were busy recovering from puddings. I usually had no problems with people walking into shot! So I can vouch for the fact that December can be very colourful - if you make it that way!
The whole idea behind this project, has been to give gardeners instant access to what's in flower on any given month - December included! I sit here at the keyboard writing this page realistically in readiness for next December - being 2014 - so hope that my goal has been scored and aim achieved. thank you all in advance for what you have done throughout the year to make this the worthwhile project I know it will be!
